Drones Stay On The Ground: Malta International Airshow Returns This Weekend
The skies above Malta are about to get spectacular and very impressive as the Malta International Airshow returns from Friday 26th September to Sunday 28th September.
But before you whip out your drone for that perfect Insta shot, take note, drone use is strictly prohibited within the marked purple zone around the airshow area.
Transport Malta Aviation Directorate has reminded everyone that safety comes first, and with jets, helicopters and aerobatic teams flying overhead, it’s not exactly the best time to have drones buzzing around.
So, leave the aerial filming to the professionals this weekend and just sit back, look up, and enjoy the show.
