Ever Wanted To Smell Like Malta’s Capital City? You Can Now, But What Exactly Does Valletta Smell Like?

Article Featured Image

It might not be the capital of culture anymore but Valletta is still a landmark of Malta both locally and abroad. But what does it smell like? You can find out the next time you shave thanks to Stephen Cordina’s line of aftershave balm and beard oils.

We wonder what the scent could contain..

Scrapings of Queen Victoria’s missing finger? A dash of British telephone boxes? Fumes of the food markets? The suspense is killing us.

Maybe it’s filled with the waters of Triton fountain. Bottled chants of festa crowds? Maybe they’ve borrowed some Pumpkin Spice from Starbucks on the Waterfront, or perhaps they’ve collected the winds that run through the narrow side streets or above the rooftop terraces.

What if they scraped in some flakes of paint from the facades? We really are dying to know what one Earth could constitute a scent of our beloved capital? Hobz? Sea winds? Dust from construction? Maybe it just smells like every other scent on the market – like CKOne but make it Malti.

What do you think the capital city smells like? Let us know in the comments below.
