Mużika Mużika is Malta’s homegrown festival. Offering a platform for local composers, songwriters, musicians and singers to showcase their talents while celebrating our unique language in the process.

Produced and organised by Festivals Malta, Mużika Mużika will return between the 23rd and 25th of March with an impressive line-up of talented participants who will compete in one of Malta’s leading live music festivals!

Festivals Malta has announced that tickets for the much-awaited song contest are now out! With just one month to go, we are excited to see what Festivals Malta has in store for the third edition of this popular song contest.

Although the festival makes for spectacular TV viewing, nothing beats being in the arena in front of that magnificent stage and experiencing the competition first-hand. Here’s why you should get your hands on tickets for this year’s edition.

A live orchestra of 50 musicians

One of the aspects that makes this festival unique is the live performance element. All 20 songs are accompanied by a live orchestra of around 50 musicians from our own Malta Philharmonic Orchestra.

The stage is the real deal

The impressive Mużika Mużika stage never ceases to amaze. Designed by Gerald Agius Ordway, the stage is unique and dynamic and year after year the team keeps coming up with a spectacular backdrop for the show.

It’s one thing seeing it on TV but being there and seeing it in full glory is something else. This year’s stage hasn’t been revealed yet, but we are sure that it will not disappoint!

A chance to see the Maltese stars

Ready to get starstruck? You won’t stumble upon many living legends all in one place as you can when you attend Mużika Mużika. In the past editions Renato, Catherine Vigar, Joe Cutajar, Mary Spiteri, Chiara, and the Incorvaja Sisters, to name an iconic few, have all graced the stage – and this year there will be more

Photo op with your favourite artist

The best thing about a live festival like this is that you are very likely to be one of the lucky few to get a photo op with your favourite artist, who could very well be the winner of this festival. But that cannot happen if you’re sitting on your couch at home now, can it?

Nothing beats experiencing it in real life!

A lesson we learnt thanks to Covid is that music just doesn’t feel the same on screen as it does in reality. This festival’s grandiosity as a TV show doesn’t even compare to being there in the crowd as a part of this sublime experience!

So, for the sake of living it to the full, clear your agendas and get your Mużika Mużika tickets now by clicking on this link.

Are you ready to sing your heart out?
