‘Is This Even Legal?’: Questionable Photo Of A Car Hitching A Ride On A Truck Sparks Online Backlash
We thought we had seen it all, but Malta, you keep on surprising us…
In this week’s episode of ‘WTF is going on’, a photo was uploaded to the popular Facebook group ‘RUBS Are You Being Served?’ of a car being transported across Malta in a truck.. and it’s not exactly the safest looking structure.
The caption that accompanied the photo read “Is this even legal…? Looks very unsafe. Car was wobbling like crazy”… and we couldn’t agree more.
Facebook users had more than one thing to say about it, condemning the truck driver for his irresponsible actions.
But according to one user this mode of transport is actually legal.
“This issue was discussed a while ago when a police truck had a boat loaded similarly to this car. Apparently it is legal to have the load sticking out as it is not loose load (terrapien, ramel, zrar, etc…)”
Illegal or not, we would be cautious driving behind this car because from what we can tell, this car is one bad speed bump away from flying off.
