Life Is What? A Safety Warning In Qormi Is Getting Attention For All The Wrong Reasons
Typos are, unfortunately, a major part of all our lives.
But one electronic sign with a sole purpose to remind drivers how much their lives are worth may actually be more of a distraction than anything else after a glaring typo was spotted by a number of drivers.
“What’s ironic is that a banal spelling mistake like that could distract drivers”
The sign, which seems to be in Mill Road, Qormi, made the rounds on social media, with everyone from drivers to pedestrians commenting on just how silly the mistake was.
“Would this be the same person who is the winner of the ‘useless and confusing lines on roundabouts?” asked one person in reference to the recent outcry over certain bike lanes, while another asked whether the signs were meant to be “intelligent”.
One woman summed it all up succinctly: “Education is precious!”
