Malta’s About To Get A Huge Sticker Album Celebrating The Country’s Favourite Thing Ever
Whatever your opinion on fireworks, it’s safe to safe most Maltese people love festi. 2017 seems to be the year to take things to the next level, with the introduction of a sticker album on the feasts around Malta and Gozo.
The album is a first for Malta, and it will feature loads of stickers to collect. You might be wondering; how much is “loads”? Try 1,100 different stickers. Yeah, we know!
The first edition of the album will feature the first 37 feasts of the island (including all the Gozitan feasts), and buying the €12 album starts you off with 10 packets of stickers. A packet will only cost €1, so y’all better be ready for some serious sticker collecting and swapping.
The album will feature a wide variety of highlights from Maltese feasts, from the churches and street decorations, to the band clubs and fireworks (of course). It will be sold from all local band clubs and stationeries around Malta and Gozo, and more feasts will be added to the collection, so you’d better get a head start on what’s going to very quickly become the ultimate collection of festa traditions.
The organisers behind this 100% local initiative have started sharing more information on their Facebook page, along with an event page which will not only count down the days until the release on the 1st November, but also act as a place where people can share duplicates and exchange stickers. Bring back those World Cup 98 Sticker Album vibes!
