The demonstration, organised by Moviment Graffitti, followed Israel’s interception of several flotilla vessels bound for Gaza.
Reports state that around 200 volunteers were detained, 13 boats seized, while roughly 30 ships continue their journey east.

On board the flotilla are high-profile figures such as Greta Thunberg, Mandla Mandela, Italian MPs, as well as doctors, journalists, artists, and activists.
In Valletta, protesters urged Maltese and EU politicians to take stronger action.
