Passenger Coach Catches Fire At Malta International Airport

A passenger coach went up in flames yesterday evening at around 6.50pm, right next to the airport’s primary aprons.

Malta International Airport confirmed that their Rescue and Firefighting Services rushed to the scene immediately and managed to get the situation under control.

Luckily, no passengers were on board at the time, and no injuries have been reported.

Operations at MIA have not been affected, with the airport continuing to work closely with all the entities involved.

An investigation is now underway to determine what caused the fire.
