A video sent to Lovin Malta shows a man casually whizzing down the main road leading from Mosta to Attard on an electric scooter… with a child passenger sitting in front of him.

We’ve all witnessed the craze of people riding electric scooters around Sliema and St Julian’s over the past few months, but we’ve never seen them as two-man (or is it one-and-a-half?) vehicles.

Or maybe it isn’t, but this guy thought it was a good idea to go down Mosta main road with a child sitting down on the scooter as he drives. The result? ‘Scooter dad’ is equal parts chill AF, hilarious and kinda worrying.

Malta’s roads aren’t the safest and we can’t imagine what would happen to them if they did end up in an accident.

Consequences aside, it’s pretty impressive how they both manage to play it off so cooly and do one hell of a good job of keeping their balance. Talk about teamwork.
