Someone Is Tweeting Literally Every Time The Wind Changes Direction In Malta
So Twitter has yet to find its footing in Malta and Gozo, but that doesn’t mean several people aren’t braving the social media platform, even if that means pursuing that venture in the most unconventional means possible. We’ve had badass Maltese MEP tweets, Facebook pages dedicated to ministers looking at things, and now a literal Twitter windvane for Malta and Gozo.
This oddity has been trawling Twitter feeds since 2009, and has now amassed almost 20,000 tweets, seemingly spouting out a new tweet every single time the wind changes direction. Literally: Every. Single. Time.
The tweets include information on wind direction, and the wind force, illustrated using ambidirectional arrows; supposedly this is aimed primarily at seafaring followers. We’re giving this Twitter handle the benefit of the doubt and assuming this is an automated tweet system; otherwise, well… keep tweeting?
