The Shade Of It All! Sliema-Based Company’s Recruitment Ad Trolls Malta’s iGaming Woes
Shortly after Global Gaming announced that the company would be forced to sack half its staff, Web International Services Ltd. took aim at the company’s woes with a new recruitment ad. And shots were definitely fired.
WIS describe themselves “a lead generation company operating within the iGaming and Finance sector”, who are apparently looking to recruit some new staff. So what better way to advertise that… then to throw some shade?
Their recruitment ad contains a caption calling on any Global Gaming staff feeling insecure about their job security to drop WIS a line and seek a new career with them.
“If your job is now on shaky ground, we at WIS can offer you new perspective and great variety,” the post reads. “And don’t worry, casino products also playing a significant role for us. Not the Gambling Authority. You are welcome!”
Eesh.
It’s followed up by what looks to be a take on the classic Drakeposting meme, showing an unhappy, unemployed member of the Global Gaming gang, contrasted with a happy, (presumably newly-recruited) WIS staffer.
