Maltese people are known for being great complainers, but nothing ruffles more feathers than the glorious sounds of excessive construction and road works.

However, this frustration and anger is often transmitted through humour and perfectly timed irony.

A new photo that appeared on popular Facebook Page The Salott perfectly captures all of that

Salott Irony

This picture has everything.

The intense fear we all feel when we see diggers, the vain attempts to keep people quiet in Sliema, and the beautifully worded “No Comment” caption that somehow manages to convey an “I’m so done with this” emotion that we’ve all experienced one too many times.

But, as with all internet jokes that hit slightly too close to home, we can use the power of our imagination to make them even more relatable to different topics through the wonderful world of memes

And while I agree that I sound like a 60-year-old trying to be cool while writing that, let me distract you with this one that took an embarrassingly long time for me to create.
