Thoughts We Assume Everyone Driving A Big Truck In Malta Has

Anyone who’s driven on our roads knows that we’re not exactly diligent when it comes to following the rules. But for some reasons many drivers feel that the larger the vehicle, the less responsibility they have. Here are six thoughts we assume go through their head on a daily basis.

1. “My car is way bigger – I deserve to go first on the roundabout”

It doesn’t matter if it’s your right of way; you won’t risk hitting me and turning your lil Smart into a pancake.

2. “My tummy has made the rumbles – I should pull over literally anywhere and buy a pastizz”

The cars I’m blocking by literally stopping in a traffic lane can overtake me quite easily – all they need to do is drive out into the oncoming traffic.

3. “That woman has a skirt above her knees – I should poke my head out of the window and tell her this”

“Perhaps I’ll even throw in a graphic description of what I’m thinking… on the house.”

4. “Why do I need to indicate – won’t they just see my car turning?”

That movement to the lever is such a hassle.

5. “It’s 5:00am but I just saw a fellow driver – I should honk for five straight minutes”

Let me sing you the song of my people.

6. “The top of my truck is exposed and full of rubble, but if I don’t drive really fast I won’t hit all the fun speed bumps”

I guess anyone behind me is gonna have to duck.
