Bizarre footage has emerged of a black pig running free outside the Malta airport, deftly dodging two policemen who had attempted to capture it. 

In the video, which was uploaded to Facebook on Christmas Day, two policemen can be seen trying to trap the pig and pin it to the ground with one of the officers’ jackets. However, the pig proved to be too agile – slipping in between a pole and a plant pot and onto the road, as onlookers watched on. 

Lovin Malta has contacted the airport to find out exactly what happened.
