WATCH: Shocking Video Shows Just How Much Plastic Waste Is In Maltese Waters

A recently shot video which has been shared onto Facebook paints a picture which is almost as disgusting as that one scene from Human Centipede 2. Except here, the whole thing is very real, and it’s happening right in front of very eyes, in Malta’s seas.

Raniero Borg from Raniero’s Adventures went scuba diving earlier this month and discovered so much plastic underwater in Buġibba that watching it might literally make you throw up a little bit in your mouth.

Raniero is a Maltese scuba diver who really enjoys diving — a hobby of his which most of us totally pooped on.

In this video, Borg takes viewers to Buġibba’s seabed, which looks more like a plastic bottle cemetery than an actual seabed.

There are so many bottles, that Raniero even appears visibly confused and as if he’s losing his mind rummaging through all of it. Honestly, we wonder if he could even find the actual seabed underneath all of that disgusting shit.

The revolting video got over 16,000 views and 416 shares in less than a month, but we’re willing to bet it needs to get more than that until everyone gets the message.

Clearly, most of us have no idea how recycling works.
