WATCH: The Absolutely Wrong Way To Beat Malta’s Traffic

Article Featured Image

It seems like this week’s traffic nightmare has driven some people to the edge… and into other lanes.

A video sent to Lovin Malta shows a coach driver boldly attempting to beat traffic by using the opposite lane to overtake and get ahead.

The incident happened on Caruana Dingli street in San Ġwann yesterday afternoon and is a great example of how not to beat traffic in Malta. How the coach expected to squeeze back into one way lane, we have no idea…but it’s clear that this guy has had enough of our traffic problems this week.

And to make matters worse, another car takes advantage of the coach driver’s actions and decides to follow suit. Sneaky, sneaky.

Other law-abiding citizens stuck in traffic can be heard beeping in protest and condemning the coach driver’s actions as irresponsible and reckless.

Needless to say, behaviour like this only causes more traffic congestion and makes for an unpleasant commute for anyone.
