A?enzija ?ag??ag?, a national support organisation for youths, has released a call for upcoming singer-songwiters between the ages of 16 and 18 to apply to a programme called ‘Song Craft’.

The project, which is being run in collaboration with Spazju Kreattiv, will provide young and aspiring artists that are willing to improve their singing and songwriting skills, and then present original songs to an audience later on.

Applicants will be able to work with some of Malta’s most prominent musicians

Namely Alex Alden, Ivan Borg (Red Electrick), Alison Galea (Etnika, Beangrowers, The Shh), and Mark Zizza Abela (Brodu), who will be mentoring the young hopefuls.

The deadline to apply is Sunday 10th February, and chosen applicants will be meeting with their mentors over three to four sessions in March. The programme will eventually lead to a showcase of their works in April, that will provide the singers with some professional concert experience.
