Crazy cat lovers across Malta can rejoice and break out that special strain of catnip saved for a special occasion. Malta’s 68th and 69th International Cat Shows are about to go down.

On Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th September the Malta Feline Guardians Club will be hosting the world’s classiest cats at Smart City, Kalkara. The show will be showcasing the following breeds: Balinese, Bengals, British Shorthairs, Burmese, Devon Rex, Exotics, Himalayans, Maine coons, Persians, Ragdolls, Scottish Folds, Siberians, Siamese, Sphynx, as well beloved household cats.

International breed judges, Mr. Edwardo Borras from Spain, and Mr. Thomas Balchuinas from Lithuania will be judging these two shows together, selecting the most beautiful, striking, and most show quality cats to compete and win respectively in their categories.

The event will be free of charge for all attendees.

Now, if you’re not yet convinced, watch this absurdly dramatic video the organisers released ahead of the gathering.
