Maltese DJ Tenishia Confirmed For Tomorrowland 2017

Popular Maltese DJ Tenishia will perform at the sold-out electronic music festival Tomorrowland in Belgium this July. Headliners for the event include Armin van Buuren, David Guetta, Martin Garrix and Afrojack.

The huge festival sold 360,000 tickets in just four hours this year and will be spread over two weekends due to the high global demand. It is described as “the biggest and most important dance music festival on the planet”, offering up house, EDM, techno, drum & bass, hardstyle and every other corner of electronic music.

This is the fourth time Tenishia will have performed at the festival, but this time it’s with a slightly different lineup. In July 2016, the popular Maltese DJ duo amicably parted ways, with Cyprian focusing his attention on music production beyond the electronic genres and Joven taking up the Tenishia mantle alone.

Since then, Tenishia has still managed to push the boundaries of Malta’s name in the electronic scene that the two had built together for over a decade. Ranking in the DJ MAG Top 100 DJs of the World for five consecutive years, Tenishia’s amazing track-record is set to go on this July at Tomorrowland.

And with a huge lineup that includes everyone from Carl Cox and Tiësto to Steve Aoki and David Guetta, the festival’s two weekends are promising to be an unmissable experience. Here’s hoping Tenishia whips up something as great as this reworked version of the Maltese National Anthem:

Tenishia will be hitting the Tomorrowland 2017 stage on Saturday 28th July at the TranceAddict Stage.
