36-Hour Drumathon: Maltese Man Takes On Crazy Musical Challenge For Charity

Article Featured Image

Local musician Rob Spiteri will be taking on a crazy musical challenge, drumming non-stop for 36 hours to raise funds for The Malta Community Chest Fund Foundation.

The live challenge will feature over 100 performers across 34 acts at Mercury Malta. Rob will be sharing the stage with some of Malta’s biggest names including Ira Losco, The Travellers, Tribali, Emma Muscat, Big Band Brothers, Sarah Bonnici, and many more.

A charity close to Rob’s heart, The Malta Community Chest Fund provides financial, medical, and social support to individuals and families facing various challenges. The Foundation assists patients with specialised treatments both locally and abroad, supports persons with disabilities, and offers aid to those in need across all sectors of Maltese society.

This isn’t the first time Rob used his insane talents for a noble cause. Back in 2023, Rob played for 24 hours non-stop while raising funds for charity. This year it’s going to be even longer and the drumathon will take place between 17th and 18th May at Mercury Malta.

The public is encouraged to attend live at Mercury Malta or to follow the event online. Donations can be made via https://bit.ly/RobsDrumathon or by using the following numbers:
