Transport Back To The 80s And 90s, Tina Turner Style, At This Kirkop Festival
The 80s and 90s are alive and kicking with one free music festival bringing the hits from one of the world’s most beloved performers to life.
Typically Tina, a Tina Turner tribute artist will be taking centre stage at this year’s edition of the 80s and 90s Music Festival being held in Kirkop on 29th July.
She will be joined by top local Dj’s Alex Reflex Grech, Sue Mifsud and Renato Vella who will be playing some of your favourite hits throughout the night.
After a two year hiatus, the festival, organised by K Music Events, is back for its 5th edition. And better yet, it’s free to attend while donations for Inspire Malta will be collected on the night.
At a press conference to launch the event with Typically Tina, Minister Owen Bonnici urged people to head over to Kirkop to enjoy the show.
After all, it’s one of the few events in Malta that you can join in for free and help one of the most important organisations in the country.
Whilst Inspire receives government funding for a number of its programmes, it still requires the support of public donations and other forms of fundraising to continue to invest in its highly specialised facilities in both Malta and Gozo as well as its specialised staff and services that grow in demand year upon year.
“As a voluntary organisation ourselves, K Music Events are more than happy to organise this event for such a good cause. These events help us grow in our community, whilst helping others who require some form of assistance,” K Music Events/ Louis Zammit, President of St Leonard Band Club said.* – it’s really not clear who the quote is of.
