Festivals Malta proudly announces the opening of applications for the much anticipated Mużika Mużika 2024! Applications are welcomed until the 17th October.
With its esteemed history and remarkable success over the past years, Mużika Mużika has proven itself to be a significant platform for Maltese music, propelling local talents to new heights and celebrating the rich diversity and uniqueness of our musical heritage.

Mużika Mużika’s journey began in the 1960s and, despite a hiatus, made a triumphant return in 2021 amid a global pandemic, bringing an energetic vision to elevate Maltese songs to international acclaim.
It has spectacularly showcased unforgettable hits and has been an enriching venue for composers, authors, musicians, and singers, creating unforgettable moments with classics like ‘Ħarsa Biss’ by Glen Vella, AIDAN’s hit ‘Naħseb Fik’, Kurt’s ‘Bla Tarf’ and the sensational ‘Sabiħa’ by Gianluca Bezzina.
