World-renowned Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli and Malta’s Joseph Calleja will join forces for an unforgettable concert experience which will be held exactly one month before Christmas, on 25th November.

Held at the Malta Fairs and Convention Centre Ta’ Qali, the show will also see The Malta Philharmonic Orchestra and The BOV Joseph Calleja Children’s choir showcasing what they do best, captivating the audience with their extraordinary vocal range and emotional interpretations.

“Both Andrea and myself cannot wait to welcome our lovely audience from Malta and beyond for a truly magical evening, complete with a repertoire spanning classical masterpieces and beloved holiday tunes,” Calleja said in today’s announcement.

Having sold millions of albums worldwide and performed in countless concerts and operas, enchanting audiences with his enchanting voice and soul-stirring interpretations, Bocelli is a beloved figure in Malta.

On New Year’s Eve 2020, he performed a 50-minute special at Fort St Elmo and St John’s Co-Cathedral which was broadcast on national TV. That night, Bocelli had performed eight songs – a tribute to the Knights of St John’s eight-pointed cross.

He had even released a music video for a cover of the classic You’ll Never Walk Alone which was entirely shot in Malta.

Organised by greatt with the support of VisitMalta, the Ministry for Tourism and Bank of Valletta, the show is expected to be a great success, and early booking – which just opened this afternoon on Shows Happening – is already open.
