Calling All Rock Music Enthusiasts! Rock’N Malta 2024 Has Launched!
The Rock’N Malta 2024 funding scheme has been launched! Initiated by the Minister for the Arts Owen Bonnici, this exciting scheme aims to provide financial support to artists, concert organisers, and producers in the rock music scene, including its diverse subgenres.
Over the years, Rock’N Malta has become a massive hit among local organisers and producers, facilitating unforgettable concerts featuring both local talents and renowned international artists like Lordi, Barclay James Harvest, Dream Theatre, Krokus, Steve Hackett, and many more!
Festivals Malta Chairman, Aaron Zahra, expressed his enthusiasm for this initiative, as it allows them to explore a different musical strand, giving local artists a golden opportunity to showcase their exceptional work.
Supporting the growth of the local music community is one of the agency’s top priorities, and Rock’N Malta aligns perfectly with this mission.
Festivals Malta CEO, Francis Agius, highlighted the immense popularity of rock music in Malta, evident through sold-out events and incredible turnouts. With a generous allocation of €300,000 for Rock’N Malta 2024, we’re ready to make this the most electrifying edition yet!
