It seems like every top musician wants a piece of the Fosos this year, and next up is a list of some of Italy’s favourite artists of the decade.

Radio Italia Live announced that they’ll be bringing over some of Italy’s most popular musicians for their first edition in Malta in the form of another free concert in Floriana!

Il Concerto will be landing in Malta on October 4th and will feature some of the Boot’s most popular acts

The lineup for the evening includes Alessandra Amoroso, Gigi D’Alessio, Elisa, Emma, Francesco Gabbani, Gue Pequeno, J-Az, Max Pezzali, Raf, Umberto Tozzi and Eurovision 2019 favourite Mahmood.

It will also feature some local acts, with Ira Losco being the only Maltese artist announced so far.

The musical direction for the evening has been entrusted to Maestro Bruno Santori, who will be conducting the 60-musician Mediterranean Orchestra.

In an awesome example of double responsibilities, Maestro Santori will actually also be in charge of the festival’s artistic direction.

This is the third edition of Radio Italia Live’s Il Concerto (which forms part of the Mediterranean Stars Festival), with the previous couple of editions going down in Milan and Palermo. This first Maltese iteration will see doors open at 6pm at Floriana’s Fosos, with a four-hour show kicking off at 8pm.

From Isle of MTV to Liam Gallagher and the BBC Orchestra, the Fosos has already seen some stellar acts over the past few weeks, and has built and an international reputation as one of the most enchanting outdoor music venues in Europe. We can’t wait to see what’s next!

Tickets for the free concert can be bought by following this link.
