Cute But Psycho: Maltese Artist Releases Fresh New Tune With Strikingly Colourful Music Video
Maltese singer and songwriter Bee has just released a fresh new track together with a strikingly colourful music video.
The new song, ‘all you could say’, is the artist’s second single after she rose to prominence following her participation in X Factor Malta.
“I wrote the lyrics, while the music and video are by Insynk Collective. The song, in a nutshell, is about overthinking whilst being in love with someone who never really gives you the reassurance you need,” Bee told Lovin Malta.
“The kind of relationship that distracts you from any issues and suddenly turns you into that ‘cute but psycho’ girlfriend.”
“As horrible as that feels, I wanted to brighten up the mood through the music video, because we all need a little positivity to get through the rough times, and since it’s my first video I wanted people to get to know me better through it. So it’s basically a lot of bright colours, crocs, tequila and a touch of humour,” she expressed.
Bee is a singer and songwriter who started off her music career by posting a couple of covers and later on bought her first ukulele which became the medium for her writing.
In 2019, she also appeared as a contestant on X-Factor Malta Season 2. Meanwhile, she joined an alternative-pop band, Paris to Istanbul, where she continued to grow from a ukulele cover girl to a pop artist.
After 10 years of exploring her music and writing, Bee released her first single ‘perfect stranger’ last January which made it to Malta’s Top Local Charts.
