Defected Malta Makes It Into Djmag’s Top 100 Festivals Of 2024
Defected Malta has been making waves, entering Djmag’s top 100 festivals of 2024, as voted by Djmag’s readers.
Maltese head of events promotion at Defected Records Nick Mizzi took to social media yesterday to express this “proud moment”, with Defected Malta ranking 98th place.
This is Djmag’s fourth year presenting the Top 100 Festivals list, with a record breaking number of votes recorded this year.
Considering the tough past few years for festivals due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Djmag felt it was crucial to praise and put the best festivals forward.
“With these challenges, it’s never felt more important or timely to celebrate all that festivals, both large and small, bring to our lives through their celebration of music, dancing and togetherness,” it stated on social media.
In first place is none other than Tomorrowland, Belgium, with EDC Las Vegas following closely in second, and Untold Festival Romania ranking third.
Defected Malta will be back for its third edition next October, with DJs from all over the house spectrum.
