Destiny, Owen Leuellen and Gianluca Bezzina have been announced as the three judges of the first season of The Voice Kids Malta, a new singing competition that is set to air later this year.

A version of the popular The Voice TV series franchise, the show gives children aged 8-14 a platform to kick-start their musical career.

Judges, known as “coaches”, critique their performances, select teams of singers to guide through the rest of the show and compete to help their act win the competition.

It has launched in several countries, including Spain, where Malta’s own Claudia Santamaria recently wowed the coaches with her take on Billie Eilish’s lovely.
