Edd WAV Is Taking Malta’s Club Sound To The US And Canada
Maltese DJ and producer Edd WAV is going international, announcing a North American tour that’ll see him hit major cities across the US and Canada this year. The local house favourite shared the news on Instagram, calling it “the next chapter” in his fast-rising career.
This isn’t his first taste of the international scene. Earlier this year, Edd played three packed shows during Miami Music Week, making waves with energetic sets that had people dancing well into the early hours. Now, he’s set to bring that same island-born energy to New York, LA, Toronto and more.
Edd first caught serious attention in 2021 when he released a three-track EP on Patrick Topping’s TRICK label, with BBC Radio 1’s Pete Tong calling him “an artist I’m very excited about.”
Since then, he’s racked up club appearances in Ibiza, dropped several new tracks, and gained a strong following online with clips of his unreleased IDs and behind-the-scenes studio moments.
He’s no stranger to local love either. From sets at UNO and Gianpula to viral TikToks and Reels, he’s built a solid fan base that’s been cheering him on from day one. And judging by the buzz around this tour, they’ll be watching closely as he steps onto bigger stages.
“Living the next chapter in the US and Canada feels right—it’s where the connection meets opportunity,” Edd said, reflecting on the journey so far.
If his past shows are anything to go by, North America’s about to get a serious taste of what Maltese talent has to offer. And something tells us this is only the beginning.
