“Flem-Infused Għana ‘n’ Roll”: Maltese Punk Trio To Embark On Scottish Tour This Valentine’s Week

High-octane music deserves to be played on full volume, but local trio Bila are firm believers of taking it all the way up to 11. And to celebrate the release of their latest (and heaviest) material, the noisy hardcore punk band will be embarking on a short Scottish tour just in time for Valentine’s.

“We’re excited to announce a small string of shows this February in Malta and Scotland,” Bila told fans on Facebook. The performances will actually be supporting the band’s latest single, Do What I Want, along with their EP Bestjarju, which the trio released in late 2018.

On the not-so-romantic 14th, Bila will be participating in an aptly named Valentine’s Day Masssacre in Edinburgh, following it up in Perth and Glasgow on Friday and Saturday.

But before all that, the Maltese punk outfit are throwing a heavy bash this weekend… featuring some very special guests

Kicking off their mini-tour, Bila will be performing their first show of 2019 on Saturday at the alternative scene’s latest haunt, Pieta’s Rumors.

But they’re definitely not coming alone; joining them are Greek “musical raiders” Konepistooli, Bat Signal and Warning!

Posited as a Grecian musical invasion, Bila will be holding the Maltese fort alongside relative newcomers 400ppm, a no-holds-barred punk band featuring some very well known names in the scene.
