From Broadway To Valletta! ‘Wicked’ Composer Stephen Schwartz Performing In Malta This September
One of the most renowned names in Broadway history is coming to Malta for a first-of-its-kind show for the islands… and it’ll be just in time for the movie adaptation of the second-best-selling shows ever!
Anyone who loves musicals knows all too well who Stephen Schwartz is. He’s won an Oscar, a Grammy and a Tony, and the writer of global hits like The Prince Of Egypt’s When You Believe, which was performed by Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston. He also collaborated on a number of other films, including Pocahontas’ Colors Of The Wind, The Hunchback of Notre Dame’s Out There, and even Disney’s cross-overs Enchanted and Disenchanted.
But if there’s one project that really helped Schwartz become a massive name is Wicked, the hit musical phenomenon which is one of the best-selling shows in all of Broadway history, second only to The Lion King on a global scale. In November, the movie adaptation of Wicked will hit screens worldwide with an A-list cast that includes Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo… and weeks before that, Schwartz will be coming to Malta!
