Minister for Arts Owen Bonnici, has just unveiled the lineup for Rock’N Malta 2024, with a massive €300,000 investment! This isn’t just a festival; it’s a revolution in rock, embracing every pulsating subgenre under the sun.

The festival, birthed in 2017, has become a powerhouse, propelling local talents onto the stage alongside internationally celebrated rock icons. This is where the heart of rock beats the loudest.
Festivals Malta chairman, Aaron Zahra, gives us a glimpse into the year ahead.
“Festivals Malta remains committed to fully investing in rock music and its subgenres, evident from the positive response following the launch of the Rock’N Malta fund. We have exciting projects lined up for the coming year, featuring high-quality local events and outstanding concerts with internationally renowned artists. I am confident these events will be a tremendous success, and I encourage the public to attend the organised events next year” he said.
Frans Agius, CEO of Festivals Malta, rolls out a calendar that’s a rock enthusiast’s dream! Spanning from March to December 2024, it’s a treasure trove of events. From the raw energy of the Gozo Youth Orchestra to the dark allure of the Spring Festival and Dark Malta 2024, each month unfolds a new chapter in this rock saga.

That’s not all! The lineup boasts events like Vinyl Paradise, celebrating the Blues Trio Phenomenon, and Teatru Rock, a journey through the iconic 70s. The year culminates with the Travellers Christmas Concert, a festive blend of joy and rock. Plus, keep an eye out for special events like ‘Time Lord’ and ‘A Symphony From Hell’, promising a night of music, compassion, and awareness.
