First up, we see some Maltese talent decorate the stage. Friday 22nd July will be all about the lyrical beauty that the Maltese language holds. Kantera will be kicking things off with ‘Tkun ‘l Hawn Għaddi’, and their eclectic folk music will keep things exciting all night long.

After Kantera, The Travellers will take to the stage and transport the audience to a land where romance reigns supreme. The boys are super excited about their first massive audience for this season. Open your soul and get ready to experience their super exclusive new releases.

All of Friday’s events are free of charge, but you can still get your hands on a VIP ticket for Friday’s show from right here

Saturday will kick off with local legends ManaTapu. Their multicultural sound will definitely make your body move to the beat and dance like no one is watching!

Last but not least, the English reggae legends UB40 will be blessing the Għaxaq Music Festival’s stage on the 23rd July. Taking audiences through the ages with their set, get ready to experience musical marvels and jaw-dropping classics.

Tickets for UB40 are selling like hotcakes, only standing passes are left, so make sure you head on over to showshappening.com to get your hands on a ticket ASAP!

This is the first time UB40 will be performing in Malta and Gozo. UB40’s entire set will be performed in loving memory of Astro, the high-energy lead singer who tragically passed away in November 2021.

This year’s Għaxaq Music Festival promises to be another fun-filled night complete with dancing, singing, and making lifelong memories. Nothing ages better than fine wine, except for these timeless tunes.

The festival will be in aid of Embrace Diversity Organisation voluntary organization for children and youths with disabilities. The Għaxaq Music Festival is supported by the Arts Council Malta and the Malta Tourism Authority.
