Isle Of MTV Just Announced Their Fourth And Final Major Name – And It’s Totally Unexpected
The final major superstar for Isle of MTV has just been announced, and it’s UK grime legend Wiley.
The British rapper is considered to be one of the most prolific and influential rhyme-spitters to come out of Great Britain in decades. Anyone that’s been to a Wiley show knows that they can expect the rap scene veteran to bring some urban power to the Granaries at Isle of MTV 2019.
“Wiley, known as the Godfather of Grime, is an icon of the UK music scene. He has been awarded an MBE and an Ivor Novello Award this year, with a chart history that includes multiple number ones and top 10 singles, including the current smash hit Boasty (featuring Sean Paul and Idris Elba) that has been riding high in the charts,” Isle of MTV said following his announcement.
Wiley’s recent single Boasty has been making waves for weeks now
But Wiley is best known for his contribution to the UK rap scene, and being a major force in grime hitting the mainstream
Wiley will now be joining Ava Max, Bebe Rexha and Martin Garrix for Isle of MTV’s 2019 lineup
It all goes down on 9th July at the Granaries, and free main show tickets are now available on Isle of MTV’s website.
