Joon Strikes Again! Maltese Electronic Artist Kicks Off Her First-Ever European Tour Alongside American Heavyweights
The Eurovision is definitely not the continent’s only musical exposure to Malta this weekend, with alternative music artist JOON kicking off her first-ever European tour tonight!
Currently in Madrid, JOON – whose name is Yasmin Kuymizakis – will also be performing in Barcelona, before moving on to Norway, Sweden, Denmark and finally Germany. In total, the Maltese electronic music artist has eight European dates… and she won’t be alone on the stage for those nights either.

JOON has been chosen to once again support legendary American synth-pop band Future Islands, whose extensive tour will eventually see them playing all across the United States. However, as far as the European leg of their four-month tour, it’s down to Malta to provide the pumping openers
