Kids Helping Kids: Young Drummer Hosts Charity Concert For Children’s Education In India
Eight-year-old drummer Tiago, supported by Glen Vella, is organising a fundraising concert in aid of children in need for education on 6th August.
Tiago has been playing drums since he was just five years old and through “Tiago’s Drums Concert” performance, he aims to raise funds through the tickets priced at just €2. During his performance, he will be covering well-known songs for the crowd to jam along to and children that are Tiago’s age will be presenting the show as they use their time to help raise funds for the important cause.
Glen Vella will be supporting the cause through a special performance he’s got planned for the fun-filed family evening and that’s not all. A surprise guest performer has also been included in the lineup together with Tiago and Glen to wow the crowds with their talent.
He will be playing the drums for around one hour as he tries to raise funds to help fund children’s education in India. He will be donating every cent to Mzungu Mission, a Maltese charity group that helps these children by building them schools, providing them with resources and helping their well-being in general.
The concert will be held at the Fgura Playground at 8pm, however, doors open at 7.30pm for all the family to enjoy huge bouncy castles for kids, surprise guest singers. There will also be a food cart available on site for concert-goers to purchase food and refreshments,
