Saydon Studio’s Kor Kwir is making a comeback for a one-off session this summer on Thursday 4th July at 8pm.

Kor Kwir is Malta’s first queer community choir, led by queer people, for queer people and their ally community.

Under the musical direction of Luke Saydon, Kor Kwir is a unique, safe space where everyone is welcome, regardless of their singing experience.

Anyone can join, with no auditions and no experience needed. After its initial start last year in April, the choir’s first season culminated into a world-class performance as part of EuroPride Valletta 2023, with a memorable performance of ‘Qawsalla’.

Returning to StoreRoom Ta’ Xbiex, Kor Kwir promises to get you ready to perform brand-new arrangements of queer anthems in an environment that champions inclusivity, expression, and joy. The choir is a “community where you can be your true self, feel warmly welcomed, and connect with others through the power of music.”
