Kurt Calleja Celebrates 2.5 Million Streams For Track “Bla Tarf”

Kurt Calleja is celebrating a major milestone for his heartfelt single Bla Tarf, which has now surpassed 2.5 million streams.

The singer shared the news on social media, calling it “beyond anything I ever imagined” for a song sung entirely in Maltese, from a country of just half a million people. Bla Tarf, which translates to “endless” or “without end”, has resonated deeply with audiences both in Malta and abroad.

Calleja said the track was written “from the heart”, telling a story of “love, hope and perseverance”.“It means so much to see it become part of your lives,” he added, noting that fans have used it for special moments including weddings and first dances.

The track has travelled far beyond Maltese shores, with Calleja thanking listeners in places like Australia and Canada who have embraced the song. He also gave a shout-out to his co-writers @itspeterborg and @monsigneur for helping bring Bla Tarf to life.
