Electronic music fans rejoice; for its second edition, Glitch Festival is promising to come back with a bang this September, with Maceo Plex, Jon Hopkins, Marcel Dettmann and Ben Klock headlining this two-day festival.
Announcing a star-studded lineup of disco, house, techno, acid and electro legends, the festival organizers are hoping to attract electronic music lovers from every walk of life.
Other prominent names fans of the scene will instantly recognize include British alternative producer Blawan, Dutch powerhouse Legowelt and German techno sweetheart Recondite. The festival also promises a very rare appearance by the legendary tech-house enigma Mr. G.
Glitch Festival will also be featuring some of the biggest local names, like ethereal house producer Jupiter Jax, dark techno representative Hail Blk, local techno heavyweight Cain and the underground master Manthrax.
Everything about this year’s edition points to an even bigger return to form, and the festival is also changing venue for 2017.
Moving from Buskett Roadhouse to Gianpula Fields, Glitch will be offering a larger area for its attendees, with multiple stages for the different acts. The fields will be the main stage for some of the festival’s biggest names up till 2am, with two additional rooms opening from 1am to 4am.
Similar to last year’s stellar debut, Glitch Festival will be transforming the venue to a mystical fortress of house and techno, so expect everything from the music to the decorations to be taken up a couple of notches.
A limited number of early-bird tickets for Glitch will go on sale tomorrow at 10am. For more information, check out the festival’s website or the official Facebook event.
