One of Disney’s most beloved films is coming to life with a symphonic cinema event featuring a full orchestra at the MFCC later this year.

Lion King is unequivocally everyone’s favourite childhood movie and Disney’s recent rendition of the animated musical is getting another makeover thanks to the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra, who will be performing to the film for one night on December 7th.

The Malta Philharmonic Orchestra will play the iconic soundtrack of the movie, including classics such as Circle of Life, Hakuna Matata and I Just Can’t Wait To Be King, while the computer-animated remake of Lion King unfolds on the big screen.

This will be the second time the MPO put Disney films to concert, having done the same with 2017’s remake of Beauty and the Beast earlier this year.

The family-friendly evening is a unique experience that is bound to evoke some sense of nostalgia as you witness one of Disney’s most successful films alongside some world-class musicians. The event will be on for one night only… so don’t miss out!
