This weekend is another magical one for Malta featuring a versatile (hint, hint) selection of musicians and some world-class acts.
From jazz and opera to metal and techno, there’s bound to be a couple of things on this list that you can look forward to this weekend!
Friday 23rd August

3. Your favourite Friday night featuring your favourite all-time classics
District is back for Week Nine featuring Cluett spinning his selection of all-time classics for until the early hours of the morning.
4. A versatile night of clubbing
Sound Salon and G7 are bringing you an extra special night featuring Malta’s beloved brass band that’s guaranteed to make your move, Versatile Brass.
5. Your weekly dose of jazz
Il-Gażin Vilhena continues their weekly tradition of Friday jazz nights this weekend and it’s the perfect place for those looking to enjoy a drink and some great live music!
Saturday 24th August
6. A pre-album thrash bash
A night of thrash metal and moshing featuring Thrashacre and Sonic Storm. This gig is guaranteed to result in you getting whiplash and a couple of broken bones. But at least your entrance fee will contribute to Thrashacre recording their new album and also guarantees you a copy of it once it’s released!
7. A magical night at Fosos
This event needs no introduction. Maltese tenor Joseph Calleja will be performing alongside Andrea Bocelli, and some special guests, in front of half of the Maltese island at Floriana’s Fosos. We already know you’re going to be there.
8. All-day ‘darties’ at St Julian’s Festa this weekend
The St Julian’s Festa is an extra special one with a bunch of parties going on through the day including Biancos Breakfast Beats & Buzz, BLANK Palace, HOT MIX, BLANK, and Cluett & Puis.
