Maltese singer-songwriter Davinia continues to captivate with her latest release, Pearl Street, the second single in a three-song project.

The hauntingly beautiful track explores themes of self-empowerment while delving into the lingering memories of a past lover.

Through her evocative lyrics and stunning performance, Davinia takes listeners on an emotional journey tied to the street where it all began.

The single builds on the themes introduced in her previous release, i got me, but with a deeper, more vulnerable edge. Produced, mixed, and mastered by Grammy-nominated Ian Kimmel, Pearl Street showcases Davinia’s powerhouse vocals and emotional depth, solidifying her place as one of Malta’s brightest stars.

Davinia’s artistic journey took flight when she moved to New York City in 2019. There, she honed her craft in the bustling live music scene, selling out iconic venues like The Cutting Room, Baretto Jazz Club at the Fasano, and The Laurie Beechman Theatre.

In addition to her music career, Davinia has showcased her versatility by acting in productions such as Fifth Avenue the Musical off-Broadway.

Davinia’s impressive resume includes performing as the opening act for Wiz Khalifa, Steve Aoki, and Jess Glynne at the Isle of MTV in 2019.

Her work has also been featured in respected publications such as Broken 8 Records, Indie Grid, Tape Ranger, and Pink Magazine.

In early 2025, Davinia will release her next single, Unimpressed, also produced by Ian Kimmel, continuing her streak of emotionally resonant and sonically impressive music.

Davinia’s star continues to rise as she prepares for a major milestone: representing Malta at The Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., next week.

This prestigious event celebrates international talent, and Davinia’s selection underscores her role as a proud ambassador of Maltese artistry.
