Former Britain’s Got Talent contestant Max Borg will make a comeback to musical competitions by taking part in the first edition of The Voice Kids Malta.

“I am very excited to share this amazing news with you all,” Max told his followers as they announced the news.

“Really looking forward to where this will take me and my musical journey but all I can say is that I am looking forward to show you my performance.”

Max had previously risen to stardom in 2019 by taking part on Britain’s Got Talent, winning judge Alesha Dixon’s coveted golden buzzer, which saw them qualify to the semi-final.

Back then Max identified with the name “Giorgia”.

The Voice Kids Malta, part of The Voice TV franchise, will see aspiring child musicians between the ages of 8 and 14 compete for a €10,000 prize.

Destiny, Owen Leuellen and Gianluca Bezzina will judge the contestants while the show will be hosted by Sarah Bajada. The first episode will air on TVM this Friday at 8:50pm.
