Nigerian Rapper-Producer Samples Maltese Classic To Create Fire Beat

Nigerian hip hop producer Kolo Gana created a fire rap beat sampled from the Maltese song Ħabibi l-Parrukier by Tony Camilleri.

“Sample music from Malta and you got a rap beat,” Gana wrote on his Instagram page as he debuted the creation of the song.

Kolo boasts 165,000 followers on Instagram and 339,000 followers on TikTok and the video already has almost an impressive 50,000 views.

The Maltese classic debuted in Serata ta’ Għana which took place in Mellieħa back in 1998 and got the modern treatment by the rapper who is known for his productions.
