Oasis’ Liam Gallagher Is Coming To Malta For A Free Massive Concert At The Floriana Granaries This July
If you’ve ever wanted to sing Wonderwall in a massive, vibrant crowding, shoulder-to-shoulder with your fellow humankind, now is your chance: Liam Gallagher, former Oasis frontman and living Britpop symbol, is coming to Malta this July, and it’s going to be at the Fosos, so you know it’s going to be massive.
Not only that, but the event is free to attend, with special offers for anyone interested in splurging on the VIP treatment.
The concert is being organised by Malta Shows in collaboration with Air Malta, who had this to say about the international superstar singer:
“If you had to make an equation of all the elements that made the early Oasis singles so apocalyptically good – i.e. huge waves of guitar hooks plus his his melody you can’t shake for…ever plus his thunderous rhythm and Liam Gallagher’s voice delivering an unbelievably catchy chorus – then Wall Of Glass fits in the lineage perfectly. It’s hard to recall a time he’s sung better – it’s like hearing him for the first time again, the same yearning menace that claimed a million hearts by the end of Supersonic’s first chorus. His voice is definitely on point.”
Liam is known around the world for some of Britpop’s biggest hits, as well as his infamous temper
But it’s not all classics – the formidable singer-songwriter is still belting out some tunes
“It’s nice to be back with some new music because it means I can get out there, play some gigs and give some people some stick because that is what I do,” Gallagher said last week ahead a busy summer of performances. “Let’s face it, it’s boring without me.”
