Opera In The Capital Set To Return For Spectacular Open-Air Show

Opera in the Capital is set to return on Saturday 6th September for a spectacular open-air concert in St. George’s Square.
Renowned tenors Alan Sciberras and Cliff Zammit Stevens will be taking part alongside the versatile artist Nadine Axisa.
According to Culture Minister Owen Bonnici, “Opera in the Capital is a celebration of the art of music and the unique cultural heritage of Valletta.
Accompanied by the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra, This event will undoubtedly be a wonderful musical experience against the beautiful and historic backdrop of Valletta’s architecture.
Valletta Cultural Agency Chairperson Jason Micallef said, “Opera in the Capital 2025 marks the fifth edition of this highly anticipated concert series, following the remarkable success of previous years. It is one of many high-quality events that the Agency brings to the heart of Valletta, celebrating the beauty of the city and responding to the growing demand for outdoor cultural experiences. With limited seating available, I urge the public to secure their seats early.”
