Ready To Boogie? A Bee Gees Tribute Band Is Bringing Disco Fever To Malta To Help Save Valletta’s Skyline

Calling all the crazy cats and groovy gals out there: it’s time to dust off those dancing dancing shoes because disco fever is coming to Malta!

The Save Valletta Skyline appeal is bringing internationally-renowned tribute band the Saturday Night Bee Gees for a one-off evening of disco boogie on November 9th.

After the success of the ABBA Revival concert last year, the Save Valletta Skyline appeal is giving us another throwback event, this time to the era of bell bottoms and afros – the groovy 70s.

Taking over the Gianpula Main Room will be none other than the cats in Saturday Night Bee Gees, a six member tribute band who will perform classics from Diana Ross, Tina Turner, Sister Sledge, Frankie Vallie, the Bee Gees (of course) and many, many more…

“We can’t wait to bring the disco decade back to the incredible Gianpula Main Room – somewhere everyone can let their hair down and boogie the night away for a great cause!” said organiser Kirsten Grenside.

Kicking off (and closing) the evening will be resident DJ and MTV host DJ Ian Lang on the decks, scratching and sampling old-school style (…we hope).

Last year’s concert saw Save Valletta’s Skyline raise €26,753 towards preserving Valletta’s iconic skyline.

Disco Fever will once again support this initiative in hopes of reaching the overall goal of raising raising more than €8 million to fund vital restoration work on the tower, spire and structure of St Paul’s Pro-Cathedral in Valletta.

“Through the power of disco, we hope this fun-filled, boogie-tastic night will raise even more to help save the skyline.”

Disco Fever tickets are available now on www.ticketline.com.mt, with early bird discounts available until 30th September.
