Prime Minister Robert Abela presented awards to singers Sarah Bonnici and Maxine Pace acknowledging and celebrating local talent.

“Maltese talent will always find our support,” Abela wrote on his social media pages.

Sarah Bonnici will be representing the island in this year’s Eurovision in Malmö, Sweden in May and will be opening up the second semi-final.

Maxine Pace won this year’s edition of Mużika Mużika with her song ‘Mhux tal-aħħar’, a song dedicated to her late mother.
