Say Hello To This Beloved Maltese Rock Festival’s Sister

Rock the South’s sister festival is here for everyone to get their knickers in a twist over. Rock the City Malta will be making its debut with a brand new and super exciting lineup.
The event will be hosted at the University of Malta’s Valletta Campus Theatre on the 29th of September, with a slew of local acts performing at this event.
Rock the City will also be seeing international names take to the stage, namely Staghorn and Yndi Halda. US-based Staghorn are a three-piece band Staghorn known for their ethereal tunes stirred with activist undertones. Yndi Halda on the other hand are a UK based post-rock band, currently signed to acclaimed labels like Big Scary Monsters, Burnt Toast Vinyl and Moorworks.
Eyes to Argus form part of the local lineup. Known for their dreamy sounds and experimental flow, the ambient post-rock band released their debut album VEER back in 2017.
Experimental duo Cosmicomics will also be performing at Rock the City.
After going viral on Spotify last year, Robert Farrugia will also be making an appearance on the Rock the City stage. The ambient musician is planning on releasing an album, and has worked alongside Eyes to Argus for the past year.
Also announced as part of the local line-up, post-rock instrumental band Shlamizard will be performing during Rock the City.
