When is SummerDaze Malta 2022 taking place?

It all goes down between 10th-17th August in various venues across the Maltese islands.

Who will be performing?

The SummerDaze Malta 2022 line-up is packed to the brim with big names and long-time favourites. From Jason Derulo and Anne-Marie, to the one and only 90s legend Corona, there’s plenty in store for fans across the music scene.

10th August: Ghali at UNO, Ta’ Qali

Kicking SummerDaze 2022 off, Italian rapper Ghali headlines a performance at UNO in Ta’ Qali, supported by Radio Deejay and M20. Doors open at 9.30pm but keep those dancing shoes at the ready – the party lasts until 4am!

11th August: Bora Bora Day Time Pool Party at Ibiza Resort, St Paul’s Bay

Slap on those sandals and that poolside drip – Bora Bora Resort will be hosting the official SummerDaze pool party from 2pm until late at the Ibiza Resort in St Paul’s Bay.

12th August: Vida Loca at UNO, Ta’ Qali

Vida Loca is officially back, taking over the UNO nightclub in Ta’ Qali and serving up the absolute best of the Hip Hop, RnB and Reggaeton scenes.  Doors open at 9.30pm.

13th August: SummerDaze Boat Party

Forget your FWABs – departing at 7pm sharp from the Sliema Ferries, the official SummerDaze Boat Party will have you dancing the night away on-deck as you sail the Maltese islands’ coast.

14th August: Sunset Party feat. Sigala at Café del Mar, St Paul’s Bay

World renowned DJ and producer Sigala (behind hit singles Melody, Came Here For Love and the ever-classic summer banger Easy Love) will be setting the tunes to your golden-hour partying at SummerDaze’s official Sunset Party. Kicking things off at 8pm, enjoy the Maltese sunset and cool off to the sounds of the summer as you dance poolside at Café del Mar, St Paul’s Bay.

15th August: Headliners Day #1 at Ta’ Qali National Park

The first big day of the main SummerDaze Malta 2022 festival is organised in collaboration with BBC Radio 1 Dance Live and Creamfields. Expect performances by worldwide superstars Anne-Marie, Bastille, Elderbrook, G-Eazy and Jason Derulo, supported by BBC Radio 1’s very own Sarah Story and Arielle Free.

This event will kick off at 4pm.

16th August: Tony Effe Beach Party at Armier Bay Beach

Headlined by none other than Italian rapper Tony Effe, extend the Santa Marija long weekend with an afternoon beach party at Armier Bay, on SummerDaze’s penultimate day, ahead of the final main festival line-up.

17th August: Headliners Day #2 at Ta’ Qali National Park

Rounding off a jam-packed week-long festival, the second day of the main SummerDaze Malta 2022 festival is organised in collaboration with Radio Deejay and M2O.

Dance the final night away to live performances by J-Ax, Baby K, Corona, Ice MC and a special guest performance by Meduza. You’ll also be treated to Deejay Times’ Albertino, Fargetta, Molella and Prezioso, and the whole show will be backed up by dancers, an MC, hosts & musicians provided by the Shake It crew.

This event will kick off at 4pm.

Is the SummerDaze Malta 2022 festival free?

It all depends on what events you plan to attend.

Both main Headliner Days (i.e. 15th and 17th August) include FREE access, however in an effort to reduce the use of single-use plastic, a €3 reusable cup will be given on admission to all guests, the proceeds of which will be donated to charity. Guests are also being reminded that metal bottles will not be allowed inside venues for safety and security – you can find out more at the SummerDaze FAQs section.

Do you need a ticket to gain entry to SummerDaze Malta 2022?

Yes, a ticket is required for entry to every single SummerDaze Malta 2022 event.

Each venue will vary in capacity, based on the advice shared by health and safety and security consultants. If you have not yet got your tickets, be sure to do so now to avoid disappointment! Each person can register for up to eight tickets at one go.

Tickets can be shown as both physical or digital copies on admission, and attendees are reminded that re-admission is not permitted if you leave the venue of respective events.
